Look at how tasty that vanilla ice cream looks with the vodka peach dessert topping!
I mastered another canning challenge! This one is probably my favorite though, Vodka Infused Peach Dessert Topping – yum!
I can say honestly, this was probably my most stressful one though because I wanted it to be so good but I was afraid it wasn’t going to. Also, this is the second time I’ve ever canned anything. Anyways, this recipe is best on vanilla ice cream – I don’t recommend putting it on a sandwich or toast.

Recipe: The Mantis Cocktail
Okay, so this weekend I had a friend over and we decided to have a few cocktails. I mostly wanted to do it for my Green Challenge this month. However, the first drink we had was horrible. It was so harsh going down and couldn’t imagine requesting someone to drink it. So we mixed and matched a few things and tried it different ways. Okay, it wasn’t even that hard, I just removed one of the vodkas. The taste is really sweet and the sour apple is wonderful. It kinda reminds me of a Jolly Rancher. Anyways, after the second…or third drink, we started thinking about names for it. Thus, The Mantis was born. Haha. Anyways, this is an adult beverage, not meant for children, no matter how much like candy it smells. I’m going to list exactly what I got but you can purchase different brands, if you prefer.
