Over the last few months I’ve shared a ton of secrets with you. Recently, I shared about not practicing good oral hygiene when I was younger. Boy has that caught up with me – even after brushing 2-3 times daily since I was in my preteens. My teeth are still yellow.
I’ve tried everything from whitening toothpaste to different kinds of over the counter at home teeth whitening treatments. Then, I started smoking. What in the world was I thinking?! I was thinking how cool I was. Yeah, I gave into peer-pressure. So for years I smoked – staining my teeth even more than before.
So when I had the opportunity to use the LED Whitening Kit from Smile Brilliant! I was so excited and a little hesitant. Like I said, I’ve tried other ones that didn’t work.
For this post I took a shameful picture of my horribly yellow teeth. Of course when I took the picture, my skin was really dry and breaking out. Uck.
I have used the LED Whitening Kit for a little over 2 weeks now and have proof that IT WORKS! Sure, my teeth are still yellow, but I haven’t used it daily – moms, you know how hard it is to commit to something daily LOL. When I do use it, I let the LED light run for 30-35 minutes each time. I’ve used it 5 out of 7 days each week.
The process is really easy. You just paint your teeth with the whitening gel, pop in the tray and put the LED light in your mouth.
The best part? There are no syringes. Every whitening kit I’ve ever used, had syringes. It was way too messy and gloppy. Which made me gag (LOL).
There are only a few things that I didn’t like about the kit.
1. There are no ingredients listed anywhere on the package.
2. The directions are a little vague.
So let me share a few facts real quick about the LED Whitening Kit before I let you go.
IT’S ON SALE RIGHT NOW. Whew I was dying to get that out. Originally $129.95 you can get it for only $39.95 – for those that are math-challenged (like me) that’s a savings of $90.00 (60%)! Shipping is $4.95.
You can whiten your teeth for as little as 20 minutes each day. They also offer a money back guarantee – hello, can’t get any better than that! They ship internationally for the same price as in the US. *please allow an extended time for your shipment to arrive
If you have mouth trays already, you don’t need to buy the whole kit. You can buy just the gel. The LED light is battery operated. They also offer a Life-time tray replacement warranty *if you buy the LED Whitening kit.
Overall, I give the LED Whitening Kit from Smile Brilliant! 4.5 out of 5 stars!

I was recently given the opportunity to review the Zap from TANDA.
I’m sure you have many questions already! So let me get started!
What It Is:
The Zap is an acne spot treatment device.
What It Does:
The Zap uses a combination of powerful blue lights with sonic vibration and gentle warming for clinically proven clearing results.
The powerful blue LED light is the same that dermatologists use! Blue LED light has been clinically proven to kill acne-causing P. acnes bacteria, clearing existing blemishes and preventing future outbreaks.
No pain. No irritation. No dryness. And best of all no pimple.
What You Do:
Always test a new product on a small area of skin on your arm. Allow 24 hours or more for any type of reaction to appear.
Place the end of the Zap (with LED lights) onto your pimple.
Push the orange button and hold the Zap in place for 2 minutes. The vibrating will stop and the light will turn off.
Repeat 2-3 times a day as needed to help reduce the blemish.
Okay, so I think it’s kind of cool to have a product that’s small enough to fit in your purse but powerful enough to fight acne, while on the go. I am very lucky though, not to have horrible, or much acne. However, when I do get a pimple…it is pretty bad.
I think the Zap would be great for anyone, boy or girl, that has acne. I think teens going through puberty or adults that live the night life would benefit best from it.
I remember my rebellious years, I had quite the night life, but the lack of sleep and smokey atmosphere in most places were harsh on my skin. I couldn’t even imagine having this available at all times!
So I used the Zap for a few weeks. It’s really easy to use and doesn’t hurt in the slightest.
What I Love:
I love that it’s small enough to fit in my purse. If you don’t carry a purse, it can even fit in your pocket.
The best thing, which sounds crazy, is there are batteries included! Nothing worse than purchasing a product that requires batteries..and they’re not included. It’s not loud and the heat that the Zap makes, isn’t scorching hot.
The TANDA Zap not only fights the acne that’s currently present, but it also helps kill the bacteria in your pore, preventing future outbreaks…now that’s awesome!
What I Don’t Like:
You can only use the Zap 1,000 times (if you use it for the full 2 minutes). I realize that 1,000 acne treatments for only $50 is really a great deal, but I just think it’s weird. I also didn’t like how cheap the plastic and set up is. It made me nervous that it was going to break-which it hasn’t, so don’t worry.
TANDA has a full line of other “beauty” products. They carry products for things such as hair removal, teeth whitening and more.
TANDA’S full line of products are available to US or Canada (some items are only available to Canada at this time). TANDA offers free shipping on all orders in the US & Canada, I love a company that offers free shipping! Not only do they offer free shipping, but they also have a Money Back Risk Free Guarantee!
Overall, I give the TANDA Zap 4 out of 5 stars.
