PostHeaderIcon Saying “No”

So when I read today’s Blog Dare, I instantly started thinking of parenthood. I’m sure you know the many ways to say ‘no’ to a toddler.
Then, I came across a picture on Pinterest today.

I’m not sure about you, but I want a belly like that! I’ve never had a flat belly so I would even be happy without the abs.
Anyways, so after seeing that picture, I’ve decided I’m going to do that. 3 times a day every day.

I just did my first wall-sit, since middle school – I was on the volleyball team. I thought I was going to die! The sad part, I only had to do it for 60 seconds. Yup, 1 minute. I know, it’s pitiful.

Don’t pity me though!

The biggest problem I’ve had, is having motivation to leave the house. I always have an excuse – It’s hot outside, the gym is too far away, I have no one to watch Landon. The excuses are endless.
So as I sit here thinking about what I should make for dinner I am already preparing myself ;)

I know that just a few sit-ups and some wall-sits each day aren’t going to give me any real results. I’m prepared this time to really proportion my meals and do the extra work needed to get not only healthy, but in shape.

So tell me, what’s “saying ‘no’” mean to you?
